Field & Stream November 1995 "GEARING UP"
GRILL ON THE GO
Campfire cooking is no longer limited to foods that ca be attached to thew end of a stick. AdjustaGrill weighs 9 pounds, sets up in about 15 seconds, adjusts horizontally and vertically, and comes with a carry case. Now, wherever you can drive a post into the ground and legally build a fire, you can have a cookout.
Still Going Strong: Our 1995 Field & Stream Feature
Back in November 1995, Field & Stream magazine ran a story on us — page 52 of the issue, to be exact. That was just one year after we started building the Adjust-A-Grill.
They put us in front of real outdoorsmen who actually cook over open fires, and the feedback was exactly what we’d hoped for. Campers and hunters loved how you could slide the grill up or down for the perfect heat and swing it completely off the flames when you needed to.
That article came out right when we were still proving the idea. Thirty years later, the design hasn’t changed much because it didn’t need to. The same heavy steel, the same simple stake system, the same ability to give you real control over a campfire.
If you’ve got the original magazine sitting on a shelf somewhere, flip to page 52 and you’ll see where it all started. If you’re just discovering us now, that 1995 write-up is a pretty good sign we’ve been doing this right for a long time.
Thanks to everyone who’s been cooking with an Adjust-A-Grill since back then — and to everyone just getting started. The fire’s still burning.
